Lost vrs. Survivor

What is it about Lost? It is a plot less soap opera; I admit it. Well actually, I could take it or leave it, but the boy, he loves it. He admits to planning his life around it. I watch because he watches. I don't care about any of the characters, I don't like or dislike them. Now Survivor, that is a show. Mean and nasty. Dirty as it gets. Can't wait.
